In the World of Scottish Banding there are five sections, 4th section up to Championship section.

Brass Sounds Inverclyde are currently in 4th section and endeavouring to move up the sections.

The more contests a band enters and wins gives them the opportunity to move up the sections.

To find out more about the rules and regulations please visit the Scottish Brass Band Association web-site found in the Links.

Text Box: Brass Sounds Inverclyde was started in 2004 by a group of brass players who felt it was time that Inverclyde was represented in the Scottish Brass Bands Association (SBBA)
Inverclyde in the past was represented by the Inverclyde District Band which ceased to exist many years ago.
Brass Sounds Inverclyde has a wide age group ranging from 14 to 60.
The band practice is held at Barnards Court Mission on Port Glasgow Road in Greenock at 7:30pm every Wednesday, if you are a brass player and are interested in representing Inverclyde in this way then please feel free to contact us.
